Its an NGO based on Itambira Island on Lake Bunyonyi.
Naris and Diana Tibenderana and Sally Botteley are the directors of this place.
‘Itambira’ means place of healing or blessing. It is hoped those visiting will indeed receive God’s blessing.
The project comprises 2 key elements:
To serve the community by providing them with opportunities for learning and enabling and encouraging them to share God’s love through their increased life skills and gainful employment.
To provide facilities for tourists and those seeking retreats in this beautiful place, to help offset the training costs and enable the project to become self sustaining in the long term.
